58°N salt and pepper set was named after the latitude where Denmark and Norway meet. A salt and pepper set has to remain on the table day after day without people getting tired of looking at it. The designer's idea was to design the set that would be robust, and at the same time elegant. This is an everyday item for different types of table arrangements.
