This dessert fork is part of the Cutlery Steel serie designed by Sori Yanai in 1974. Sori Yanagi's steel cutlery set is characterised by simplicity and usability. It has won the admiration of the world's best chefs and thus can be found gracing the tables of fine restaurants around the globe. Another admirer is New York MoMa, where there is an exhibit of the cutlery in appreciation of its craftsmanship and the fact that the design works in both form and function. Its this serie, the knife has an immediate appeal due to its solid, rounded handle and blade with its subtly grooved cutting edge which enhances the overall design, but suffice to say that there is richness of details and usability in Sori Yanagi's set of cutlery for any occasion.
