Gianni The Little Man Holding On Tight kitchen boxes designed by Mattia di Rosa with A di Alessi have been bringing joy and colour to kitchens since their release in 1994. Gianni's the name of the little man holding on to the lid.

He's holding on to an efficient seal that keeps foods fresh. And you needn't muck around with mismatched tops - there are  four different colours and four heights of box,  all lids are the same 10.5cm diameter, so lids are completely interchangeable. The tallest 30cm box is perfect for spaghetti, and the smaller box work for sugar, tea, coffee, rice, and any other dry goods. Their thick glass walls makes them fine for the dishwasher.
