Giovannoni Stefano
Stefano Giovannoni is an architect and an italian designer, was born in 1954 in Spezia. He completed his studies of architecture in Florence in 1978.
Giovannoni worked in close collaboration with Guido Venturini from 1985 till 1989.
His products are inspired by the comic strip, by the science fiction or by the cinema. He designed various objects for Alessi among which of them are nutcracker "Nutty the Cracker", the salt cellar and the pepper pot "Lilliput" and the "Merdolino" toilet brush.
His colorful style is filled with cheerfulness and humor. At the end of the 80's, Stefano Giovannoni with Guido Venturini designed the series of dishes and kitchenware "Girotondo" which has been a best-seller until now.
His explosive talent, able to embody the complex system of "affective codes" in his projects, is winning him the title of best "Super & Popular" designer of the years 2000.
