The Marli fruit holder is part of the collection designed by Steven Blaess with Alessi. In Australian arboriginal language, Marli means "butterfly". For Alessi, Marli has become a family of objects with an aerodynamic shape which is combined with  the plasmatic nature of the object. With its small wings, Marli will transform and expands to hold and contain things, such as a basket for fruits, bread or biscuits.
