Mikal Harrsen has been known as Industrial Designer since 1999. Later on he founded his own studio "Harrsen-Hall" together with architect Adam Hall.

This has been a successful partnership and won several awards (e.g., Red Dot Award in 2004 and 2005).

Harrsen said that he never follows existing design philosophy and also doesn't refer for it. According to his opinion, instead, the big challenge is to always find new design ways that will shape up the future of designs. Based on needs, ideas are developed and his task as a designer is to find the functional and aesthetic solutions for these needs.
