Motozawa Kazuo
Kazuo Motozawa is a Japanese designer, born in 1945 in Saitama. In 1968 he graduated from Industrial Design Course, Musashino Art Junior College. 1977-85 Managing Director of LD Yamagiwa Laboratory. In 1987, he established HALO Design Laboratory. In 1972 he was an invited Artist at The 5th Tokyo International Lighting Design Competition.
In 1973 he held Joint Exhibition "Lighting Environment" with Takamichi Itoh at Design Forum 73 at Zon, Seibu Department Store. 1980 Exhibition "Japan Style" at Victoria and Albert Museum.
1992 Tokyo Design Marathon Exhibition "Kouki(Light Container)" at Tokyo Designer's Space. 2000 Solo Exhibition "Kazuo Motozawa World of Lighting / Form of Lighting" at Living Design Center, Tokyo. 2005 Featured in the publication "Nippon Product" by Bijutsu-Shuppan.
