Myto Chair - Plank
233.00 EUR
The Myto Chair designed by Konstantin Grcic for Plank is a stackable plastic chair, strong, comfortable and compact. It comes in a cool angular shape and is made in an “eco-responsibly” way from a single piece of plastic using the minimum material possible from BASF‘s “Ultradur® High Speed Plastic”. Konstantin Grcic, Plank and BASF have achieved to develop a cantilever chair made entirely from plastic. The re-interpretation of the historical and iconic cantilever chair design, and the development time of over a year was a challenge for all parties involved. The Ultradur® High Speed Plastic provides the necessary flowability to inject Myto Chair as one monoblock with a supporting frame structure and a perforated seat and back that convey the feeling of flexibility which is typical for a cantilever chair. Myto Cantilever Chair designed by Konstantin Grcic has been approved to be one of the permanent New York Museum of Modern Art (MoMA)‘s collection. For Konstantin Grcic, Plank and BASF, the acceptance by MoMA of their products into the collection is an important distinction and recognition. Description: Stackable chair (max 4).Materials: BASF Ultradur High Speed plastic. Dimensions: Height: 82cm, Width: 51cm, Depth: 55cm, Height seat: 46cm. Date of production: 2008. | |
