Flos Tau wall lamp was inspired by the letter T, originating with the Greek letter Tau, and this design from Rodolfo Dordoni is a beautiful incorporation of simple form. This minimal Tau wall lamp provides a maximum impact, however. Mast of cast aluminium, Flos Tau is a seamless unit with curved surfaces hugging the vertical and horizontal lines of the lamp. The T shape makes a unique lighting effect, as the majority of light is directed form the top in a V-shaped beam towards the ceiling. The opening at the bottom of Flos Tau also allows some light to illuminate the floor below.

Flos Tau is not only an eye-catching piece to hang on the wall, it is also perfect for innovative lighting concepts. This Tau hall lamp is perfect for hallways, where the bright light is released upwards onto the wall and ceiling, casting an indirect light throughout the space. The small amount of light from the underneath side of Flos Tau illuminates the stairs directly without causing glare. Because of its unique lighting properties, Flos Tau is a versatile piece.
